It asks whether it actually helped
Most apps measure how often you open them. InnerMe asks, every single time, whether reflecting made a difference. Lighter, the same, or heavier. Nothing else it shows you would mean much without that answer.
Voice-first reflection
Speak a thought aloud for up to thirty seconds. InnerMe listens, then writes back a few grounded sentences that reflect what you said — and asks the one question that matters: do you feel lighter?
Free to start. Coming soon for iOS and Android.
How it works
Nothing to set up, nothing to keep up with. Open it when you have something to say.
Hold the button and speak for up to thirty seconds. No script, no tidying it up first. If you’d rather not speak, type it instead.
Four or five short sentences that reflect what you actually said — not advice, not a pep talk. Read them, or have them read aloud to you.
Then one question: do you feel lighter, the same, or heavier? Answered over weeks, that becomes the most useful thing the app knows about you.
What makes it different
Most apps measure how often you open them. InnerMe asks, every single time, whether reflecting made a difference. Lighter, the same, or heavier. Nothing else it shows you would mean much without that answer.
Your recording is transcribed and then discarded. The audio is never stored, never played back by anyone, and never used to train anything. What remains is your own text, in your own account.
There is no chain to keep going and nothing to lose by skipping a week. Guilt is the opposite of what this is for.
Speak in English, Spanish, Hindi, French or Arabic — and get your reflection back in the same language.
Insights
One reflection is useful on the day. Thirty of them start to say something you couldn’t have noticed on your own.
Work, a particular person, money, sleep. Not because you tagged anything, but because you kept saying it.
Sunday evenings. The hour before a meeting. The pattern is often in the timing rather than the content.
The part almost nothing else measures. Over weeks you can see which kinds of thoughts leave you lighter, and which ones need something more than words.
